At the moment, the BC800Z supports RTSP for streaming and recording purposes. For complete functionality, the camera should be paired with and managed by Surveillance Station. The camera is powered by a 12V DC / 2.5 A power adapter or via Power over Ethernet (PoE, IEEE 802.3af Type 1 Class 3). White LED lighting in high-end cameras enables color night vision, enhances image quality, provides deterrence, and aids in accurate autofocus in low-light conditions. The BC800Z directly supports advanced AI features such as License Plate Recognition, Smoke Detection and People Counting without needing to pair with the DVA series. Additionally, the camera supports People and Vehicle Detection, Intrusion Detection, and Instant Search. All camera based edge AI detection features can run simultaneously on a Synology camera. On the BC800Z, Smoke Detection and License Plate Recognition cannot be enabled at the same time, and only one of these two features can be used. All other AI detection features can operate concurrently. Yes, the BC800Z camera supports night vision. Equipped with a 1/1.8" starlight sensor and a hybrid white/IR light supplement, it ensures exceptional night vision performance up to 31 meters, even in the most challenging low-light or dark conditions.
